Each answer is kept in your browser the moment you type it, so a refresh never loses it, and synced to your account shortly after.
When a posting has a saved draft, the extension's button on the page shows an amber "!". Hover it for "Continue my draft", with how many answers it holds.
Nothing goes back into the form until you press the button, and you can choose your draft or a fresh fill from your resume instead.
Tracking links and the different addresses a posting lives at all lead to the same draft, so you never end up with three half-finished copies.
Application drafts on the website lists everything you started and didn't send, with Continue and Mark as applied. Once applied, a draft stays for 30 days.
Apply by any route (the extension, the apply wizard or the tracker) and the draft's answers join that application's record, so you can reuse them next time.
