Business Analyst Intern

📄 JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to finance, you will work in close partnership with the Group Sales Director and his sector and regional directors to build and challenge short, medium and long-term plans with the brands and organize the monitoring of performance vs. these plans.

You are part of a team of Group Business Controllers and report to the Group Commercial Controlling Manager

🎯 MISSIONS

Activity 1: Support & Challenge of Farm Stock Purchases

• Analyze and challenge the firm purchase requests of the sales teams
• Compare the operational (stock quality, disposal) and financial (gross/net margin, payment terms, cash flow) KPIs of each operation with regard to Group directives

Activity 2: Sales Performance Management

• Implement and maintain tools for analyzing and monitoring overall performance
• Break down indicators by sector, country, team and sales to guide decision-making

Activity 3: Monitoring & Animation of Own Stocks

• Ensure the monitoring and valuation of stocks held directly in collaboration with the Finance and Stock Accounting teams
• Accelerate the pace of product sales to optimize the company's cash flow and cash position

Activity 4: Budgeting & Purchasing Planning

• Develop the annual stock purchasing plan as part of the budget process, in conjunction with the sales teams
• Model and measure the projected impact on the company's overall cash flow

👉 PREREQUISITES

• You are preparing a Bac +4/5 level training (Business School or University) with a specialization in Finance or Management Control.
• You have a perfect command of financial modeling tools (Excel, Google Sheets) and are very comfortable with the manipulation of complex data.
• You have a strong taste for business and its financial optimization levers.
• You are known for your absolute rigour, your spirit of initiative, your solution-oriented attitude and your team spirit.
• You have excellent communication skills to easily convey complex messages to a variety of interlocutors. You are fluent in English.
