The Position

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, creative Content Manager & Curator with a strong eye for design and photography to work closely with the Unsplash Community and Content teams. In this role, you’ll monitor, review, curate, and merchandise content across the Unsplash Open Library and Unsplash+, ensuring our photography is discoverable, relevant, and commercially successful.

Sitting at the intersection of content, data, and user experience, you’ll help shape how millions of people find and use visual inspiration.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Content Review

Reviewing photography & illustration submissions to the Unsplash+ program and Unsplash open library.

Content Curation & Merchandising

Curate and organize photography topics and collections
Stay up to date on visual trends, creative styles, and industry best practices
Analyze search trends, user behaviour, and content gaps to inform merchandising decisions

Search & Discovery Optimization

Select, prioritize, and position imagery to maximize engagement, relevance, and conversion
Maintain visual quality standards and ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and audience needs
Collaborate with content to refine tagging and discoverability strategies
Monitor performance metrics such as search ranking, downloads, clicks, and engagement
Run content tests and experiments to improve visibility and conversion
